Add to the excitement with a bet!
For the first time, thanks to Sporttip it will be possible to bet on the Geneva International Horse Show’s main events as well as the jumping and driving finals. On and off-course! As a partner of Swiss Top Sport (an association covering the 14 biggest sporting events in the country), the Loterie Romande is covering the Geneva International Horse Show.
At the beginning of 2007, the Loterie Romande and Swisslos (for German-speaking Switzerland and Ticino) took over the bookmakers Sporttip and Toto. The full amount of these bookmakers’ net profits are allotted to Swiss sport (cantonal sports funds which sponsor projects of public utility in fundamental sport and sports infrastructure as well as national sport). With Sporttip you can, of course, also place bets at certain newsagents, at some 3,500 Lotto sales points, on the internet and in some cases on-course...
As part of its partnership with Swiss Top Sport, Sporttip sets up stands at events. Accordingly, spectators can enjoy the added excitement of betting and maybe… winning on the spot. And this will be the case at these finals. Bets can be placed on wins and places as well as on the name or nationality of the winner. The following are the competitions on which you can bet: the three rounds and the overall ranking of the Rolex FEI World Cup™ Final; the FEI World Cup™ Driving Final; the Prix L’Hebdo (Wednesday), Parfums Lanvin (Thursday) and Tribune de Genève (Friday), as well as the En Châtillon speed and handy and the Credit Suisse Grand Prix on Saturday. There’ll be something for everyone!
Even better, it will also be possible to choose fixed or variable odds and, as from Thursday, to place bets on the Rolex World Cup final ranking, for example. Of course, if you already pick the winner and place your bet on the first day, you will win more than the person who waits until Sunday lunchtime to bet.
